About TheWoundGuy

Built for clinicians.
Not for algorithms.

An independent wound care education blog — no sponsorships, no product placements, no brand affiliations. Just evidence.

Who I am

A wound care nurse who got tired of the noise

I'm Abdulrahman Almalki — a Registered Nurse and WOC (Wound, Ostomy and Continence) Nurse at King Faisal Medical Complex in Taif, Saudi Arabia, where I serve as Wound Care Team Leader.

I hold the International Interprofessional Wound Care Course (IIWCC) certification, bring five years of focused clinical experience in wound care, and serve as a peer reviewer in the field.

TheWoundGuy exists because wound care education deserves better. I built it for nurses and clinicians who want clinical reasoning — not product catalogues dressed up as education.
